With over two decades of experience and a passion for therapeutic healing, Raghavendra is the heart behind Swadhyaya Yoga Institute. His approach to yoga is deeply rooted in ancient wisdom and backed by scientific understanding. Having trained under esteemed mentors like Dr. Loren Fishman and certified by Yoga Alliance and SVYASA, Bengaluru, Raghavendra brings both expertise and compassion to every session.

Raghavendra specializes in medical yoga therapy, offering targeted relief for musculoskeletal issues such as back pain, knee discomfort, and joint stiffness. His programs are carefully designed to restore balance and mobility while also enhancing emotional resilience and self-confidence. As a certified instructor in Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Aerial Yoga, and Yoga Trapeze, he integrates modern techniques with classical yogic principles.

In addition to traditional yoga, Raghavendra is a certified Soma Breath instructor and trained Pranic Healer, offering a truly holistic approach to wellness. How long do your classes last?

Classes last for 1 hour.

What are your class timings?

All our class timings are mentioned in detail in the Classes page. Click here to view them.

Is there a dress code?

We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing that allows for free movement. Please do not wear expensive jewellery or any kind of clunky accessories.

Can I eat before a class?

You can have a light snack 1 hour before classes (if needed). Your last heavy meal should be at least 3.5 hours prior to your yoga class.

What should I bring to class?

Please bring a water bottle, a hand towel and a Yoga mat. If you are doing aerial yoga, please trim your nails to avoid any damage to the props.

If I have had an injury or recent surgery, can I still join your group classes?

No. Group classes are not recommended for those with recent injuries or surgeries as the Instructor will not be able to provide close attention and it will be unsafe.

Do I need to disclose if I am taking medications?

Yes, you need to disclose if you are under any medication. Please come with your reports or your doctor's prescription.
